Captain Artur Meçollari, invited to the "Now" show with Erla Mëhilli, commented on the speech of the candidate for US ambassador to Albania, Eric Wendt.

Meçollari said that many are wondering why Wendt did not attack the government, but it must be understood that his duty is to work with the government.

Further, Captain Meçollari said that Wendt cannot set up barriers with the Albanian government without officially coming as ambassador.

Focusing on Wendt's speech about justice, Meçollari said that the ambassadorial candidate handled the SPAK issue extremely well.

 

" A lot of people are wondering why he didn't attack the government. We have to understand, by definition, the ambassador is the representative of the president of the United States who works with the government that is in power.

So he can't put up barriers with the government without the ambassador coming because we will work with the government. From what I understood, he handled the SPAK issue extremely well. I liked the way he handled it.

"There were some ambiguities or there were some things that didn't go right. For example, the fact that he said I have no knowledge of the Trump family's investments, that is, this doesn't go right because in fact everything you search for on the web you find immediately, this was a way to avoid continuing the question ," he said.
