International relations expert Adri Nurellari today provided an extensive analysis regarding the attacks on Iran.

Invited to A2 CNN, Nurellari said that it is about highly targeted strikes and an asymmetric war, which does not aim for escalation.

 "Israeli embassies everywhere in the world have always been targeted despite this crisis and whenever they have found a gap or space they have attacked them. What we see on the ground is that the strikes are very targeted. There is no interested party to engage and escalate this further. Iran is acting in an intelligent, typical, practical manner of a country that knows how much it has to deal with the extraordinary technological superiority of the US and Israel. So it is using a reaction that we in international relations call the reaction of an asymmetric war, trying to do what it cannot do on a vertical level, it does on a horizontal level by trying to put pressure on the Persian Gulf countries and the world economy so that they can then put pressure on Trump to withdraw.
