Plarent Ndeca, the defendant in the GJKKO case charged by SPAK, who for several weeks has also been the lawyer of the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has continued today with the well-known scheme of familiarizing himself with the acts.

In a statement to journalists this Monday, Ndreca said that Veliaj is not familiar with all the prosecution's acts, as according to him, 24 files are still missing.

"Regarding the familiarization with the acts, which has become a cliché, in fact, more than exposes the position of the prosecution, which will 'package' a case for the public eye. No process should pass without being debated by the parties. Veliaj is missing 24 files. He does not have and does not have any digital evidence, which he has the constitutional right to read. This rush to continue this process exposes only those who have the decision-making power," said Ndreca.

Meanwhile, in the second session on the merits at the GJKKO that took place last month, details came to light, according to which Veliaj not only refused to hand over the SPAK documents, but also showed arrogant behavior towards judicial police officers.

This statement by Ndreca comes as the document signed by officers of the BKH and the General Directorate of Prisons states that Veliaj used threatening, insulting and abusive language towards them at the moment of handing over the documents, which he also openly threatened./CNA
