The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has made a reaction regarding the coffin at today's protest.

Balla writes that the people who brought the coffin to the protest are supporters of the Durrës Democratic Party.

The socialist says that mocking the shroud is not consistent with Albanian and religious customs.

While focusing on Berisha, he said that he would give him an answer if his habits did not allow it.

 

" The people who brought a coffin to the boulevard are supporters of the Democratic Party of Durrës (and of a faction within it). Sali Berisha committed this shameful act 28 years ago with the coffin of the late Azem Hajdari. Mocking the shroud, in the sense of mocking a symbol associated with death and burial, does not comply with Albanian customs, as well as religious ones, whether Islamic or Christian. Sali, I would give you an answer, but Albanian and religious customs do not allow me to ," Balla writes.
