Albana Koçiu gives important news: Electric skateboards are banned

Interior Minister Albana Koçiu has announced the important news that the use of skateboards on the streets will be temporarily banned.

Based on reported accident figures, the Ministry of Interior and the State Police have decided to ban the use of electric skateboards.

Koçiu has also called on businesses that deal with their sale not to invest in this business as they will not be allowed into circulation.

"991 cases reported by emergency services are more than enough to immediately stop this dangerous innovation in road traffic in our cities, until a strict regulation based on international best practices is drafted," said Koçiu./ CNA
