Yildiz with clear goals, Juventus prepares the contract

The future of Kenan Yildiz at Juventus remains one of the most important issues on the agenda of the black and white club. The 20-year-old striker, who has become one of the key elements of the team, is aiming for a contract renewal that reflects his current role and importance in the team, as well as his personal ambitions for the years to come.

Juventus are expected to officially resume talks to extend Yildiz's contract in the coming weeks. This process is expected to be accelerated by the appointment of new sporting director Marko Ottolini, who will have a central role in building the club's long-term project.

The Turkish talent's current contract expires in June 2029, but given the importance he has taken on in the team, both parties believe a new agreement is necessary.

According to reports from "La Gazetta dello Sport", the last meeting between Juventus representatives and Yildiz's camp took place at the end of October, shortly before the dismissal of coach Igor Tudor.

Since then, negotiations have been on hold, but are now expected to resume in a more concrete manner.

Yildiz currently earns around €1.7m per season. His target is to become the team's highest-paid player, with a salary of at least €6m per year, a figure comparable to that of Jonathan David. Juventus' offer, on the other hand, ranges from €4m to €5m per season, with bonuses linked to both the player's personal goals and the team's results.

The difference between the player's request and the club's offer is estimated at around 1 million euros per season. However, the financial issue is not the only one on the negotiating table.

Yildiz also seeks clear guarantees for Juventus' sporting project and ambitions in the future, both nationally and internationally.

In terms of sport, the current season has been positive for the Turkish talent. In 22 appearances in all competitions, Yildiz has scored six goals and provided six assists, confirming his continued growth and importance in the black and white squad.
