Napoli wins Super Cup, prepares reward for coach Conte

Calm has returned to Napoli and president Aurelio De Laurentiis intends to extend the contract with coach Antonio Conte.

According to Italian media outlets "Il Mattino" and "La Repubblica", the club's idea is to extend the current agreement for another two years, until 2029.

Conte's current contract expires in 2027, and it remains to be seen how the coach will react to this proposal. The relationship between the parties has been tense during the season, but winning the Italian Super Cup has changed the climate.

De Laurentiis has consistently defended Conte's work and stressed his importance to the Napoli project. The coach's future is also linked to possible scenarios in the Italian national team.
