Left injured, Muçi wants to play in the derby

Ernest Muçi has given positive signals about returning to the field for the derby against Galatasaray, despite an injury suffered with the national team.

The Trabzonspor striker is suffering from swelling in the back of his thigh. The physical problem appeared after the play-off match against Poland, where he came on as a substitute.

The next day he felt pain and tests confirmed muscle swelling. For this reason, the 25-year-old missed the friendly against Ukraine.

After returning to the club, his condition has improved and the player has asked to play in the derby. Muçi has stated that he wants to be on the field in one of the most important matches of the season.

The final decision on his activation will be made by the medical staff in the days before the match.
