Left out of the World Cup, Italy studies alternatives for the bench

Italy faces another difficult moment after its third consecutive absence from the World Cup.

The future of coach Gennaro Gattuso remains unclear, as he has not given a definitive answer about his continuity.

President Gabriele Gravina has asked him to stay, but there is a possibility that the coach himself could leave. The federation is expected to decide on a successor if Gattuso leaves.

One of the main options remains the return of Roberto Mancini, who may consider a return to the Italy bench.

Antonio Conte, currently linked with Napoli but with an uncertain future, is also mentioned on the list. Other alternatives include Silvio Baldini and Fabio Cannavaro, the latter currently coach of Uzbekistan.

Italy aims to reorganize for the future and make the most of the remaining matches.
