Albania disappoints again, Ukraine wins with dominance

The Albanian national team has suffered another minimal 1-0 defeat, this time in the friendly held in Valencia against Ukraine.

After being eliminated by Poland in the play-offs, the Rossoneri found themselves in difficulty again, being dominated by their opponent throughout the match.

The goal that sealed the fate of the match was scored as soon as the second half began, in the 46th minute, by striker Hutsuliak. The latter took advantage of a precise cross to head the ball into the net.

Ukraine had numerous opportunities to double the score, but were stopped by Thomas Strakosha's interference and the uprights.

Albania responded only once with Qazim Laçi, whose shot was narrowly deflected by the Ukrainian goalkeeper.
