Reinforcement in attack, Milan reaches agreement with the English club

Niclas Fullkrug may not be the only reinforcement in Milan's attacking department this transfer window. The Rossoneri are very close to reaching an agreement for Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta.

The agreement with the English club for the summer transfer has been reached for around 30 million euros. There is also a preliminary agreement with the player for an annual salary of 3 to 3.5 million euros plus bonuses.

Milan are also considering the possibility of bringing Mateta in January, for an additional fee of €5 million. For this scenario, certain conditions must be met by Crystal Palace.

The situation is also linked to the future of Christopher Nkunku, who currently wants to stay at Milan. Despite the timing of the transfer, the agreement between Milan and Mateta seems very close.
