From Milan to the Champions League, Allegri appointed to the Italian team

Massimiliano Allegri has wasted no time in being appointed as Napoli coach after being sacked by AC Milan. President Aurelio De Laurentiis has decided to entrust the Italian coach with the team's management for next season, following the departure of Antonio Conte.

According to reports from Italy, Allegri will sign a two-year contract with an option to renew for another season.

After a difficult season with Milan and the lack of qualification for the Champions League, Allegri will begin a new adventure at Napoli, a team that has fought for the Serie A title in recent seasons.

The red and black club remained out of the Champions League and will play in the Europa League, while the leaders have begun a broad restructuring process.

Meanwhile, Allegri is preparing for another return to the Champions League, a competition where his last experience was with Juventus in the 2022-2023 season. That season, the Bianconeri won only one match in the group stage and finished the group in third place, then moving on to the Europa League.
