Mourinho heading to Real Madrid, the Portuguese sets 10 conditions

Jose Mourinho is being tipped to return to Real Madrid after making contact with president Florentino Pérez.

According to reports, a video call lasting about an hour took place between Mourinho, agent Jorge Mendes and club executives.

The current Benfica coach has not given a definitive answer, but has presented 10 conditions for a return.

He is seeking a two-year contract until 2028, with no further binding options. Mourinho has demanded full control over the squad, stressing that players who do not commit will not be called up.

He intends to bring his entire current staff, while Álvaro Arbeloa could also be included. The Portuguese coach has requested the departure of 7 players in the summer, in addition to those who are at the end of their contracts such as Alaba, Carvajal and Fran González.

He also prefers to reduce summer friendlies to avoid physical strain.
