Liverpool "burns" the victory at the end, Tottenham makes the surprise

Liverpool dropped two crucial points in the race for European football after being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Tottenham.

The challenge started well for Arne Slot's team, who found the net in the 18th minute through Dominik Szoboszlai.

The first half was dominated by the home team, who managed to take the lead but failed to close the game with a second goal. In the second half, Tottenham went on the attack in search of the points they had been missing for weeks.

Just when it looked like the Reds were heading for victory, the visitors surprised in the 90th minute. Richarlison made the most of a Kolo Muani assist to equalise, ending his side's six-game losing streak in the Premier League.

The draw leaves Liverpool in fifth place with 49 points, making it difficult for them to reach the top four. Tottenham, on the other hand, remain in a critical situation for survival, ranking 16th with 30 points, just one point away from the relegation zone.
