Napoli wins by upset and puts "pressure" on Milan

Napoli triumphed 2-1 at home to Lecce, overturning the result after a difficult start to the match.

The friends took the lead in the opening minutes thanks to a header by defender Siebert after a corner kick.

In the first half, Napoli had more possession of the ball, but Lecce created some dangerous situations on the counterattack. The best chance for the home team came from Politano, but his attempt ended up in the outside of the net.

The equalizer came early in the second half, when a quick pass from Hojlund was completed in the area. Napoli took the lead shortly afterwards. Politano scored with a quick shot from a cross from a corner.

Lecce failed to react in the remaining minutes. With this success, Napoli recorded their third consecutive victory in the championship and holds third place with 59 points, 1 less than second-place Milan.
