Modern complex, Armand Duka in Laç. Agreement reached for the project

The President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, held a meeting with the Mayor of Kurbin, Majlinda Cara, where the focus of the discussions was the development of sports infrastructure in the city of Laç and the strengthening of institutional cooperation in the function of football and the community.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to cooperate in the implementation of the project for the construction of a modern sports complex in Laç, a strategic investment that will be realized in partnership between the Albanian Football Federation, the Kurbin Municipality and the Laçi Football Club.

This project represents another important step in the AFF's strategy for the development and modernization of sports infrastructure throughout the country, creating modern conditions for the development of football and supporting the younger generations.

The AFF Executive Committee has approved support for this project, while the cooperation agreement between the three parties defines the joint commitment to the realization of one of the most important infrastructure investments in the Kurbin region.

The new sports complex will be built according to modern standards and will include two standard-sized artificial grass football fields, a standard-sized natural grass field, as well as a small-sized field, creating a complete football training and development center.

The Albanian Football Federation will contribute 50% of the total investment value, the Kurbin Municipality with 30%, and KF Laçi with 20%, which also includes the value of the land provided by the club.

The investment is planned to be implemented in three phases. In the first phase, for which the Albanian Football Association, the Municipality of Kurbin and KF Laçi have agreed to contribute together, the sports fields, the road infrastructure of the complex and its perimeter will be built. In the subsequent phases, the stands, support facilities with changing rooms, as well as the hotel building will be built, completing the entire complex according to the planned project.

The complex will create modern conditions for the development of football at all levels and will serve as an important center for the activity of KF Laçi, sports academies, national teams, as well as for the community of the Kurbin Municipality. At the same time, the investment will contribute to increasing the standards of sports infrastructure and creating better opportunities for the identification and development of young talents.

The implementation of this project once again confirms the model of cooperation between the Albanian Football Federation, local government and clubs, as the most efficient way to bring sustainable investments to the service of football and local communities.
