The Albanian Football Association "opens the bag", revealing the huge sum for the clubs of the Superiore and First Category

The Football Federation has taken an important step for the development of professional football in the country, deciding on a significant increase in financial support for clubs in the Superiore and First Category.

During the proceedings of the Ordinary General Assembly, the President of the Albanian Football Association, Armand Duka, announced this decision, considering it an important step, with the revenues that will come from commercialization.

"We will increase commercialization revenues by 30% and, in 2026, we will distribute 3 million euros to the clubs of the Superior and First Divisions, as direct financial support to improve their functioning," said President Duka during his speech to the Assembly.

The financial support will be distributed during the period between the two assemblies and constitutes an important step towards raising standards in club management, increasing the quality of the competition and creating better conditions for players, coaches and technical staff.
