Just 2 days before the signing of the agreement, scheduled for Friday in Geneva, the US president expressed the possibility of resuming bombings against Iran if he does not like the agreement.
"If they don't behave properly, we're going to start dropping bombs again," Trump said.
As foreign media reports, the statement was made while Trump was with the President of Egypt, Al-Sisi, to conclude by saying that Iran has not behaved properly for 47 years.
Meanwhile, a draft of the 14-point US-Iran agreement was published this Wednesday, outlining a broad framework of commitments and including, among other things, the cessation of hostilities on all fronts including Lebanon, the lifting of sanctions, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, economic support for Iran, and new rules for its nuclear program. /CNA
