Current individual consumption per capita ranged from 32% to 139% above the EU

In 2025, eight EU countries recorded a current individual consumption per capita, in purchasing power standards, above the EU average.

The highest levels were recorded in these countries: Luxembourg with 45% above the EU average, Germany with 20%, the Netherlands with 19%,

While the lowest levels were recorded in: Hungary and Latvia, both with 27%, as well as Estonia with 26%.

According to data published by Eurostat, GDP per capita in purchasing power standards ranged from 32% below the EU average in Bulgaria and Greece to 139% above the EU average in Luxembourg./CNA
