Inter find Calhanoglu's successor in Serie A, but need 50 million euros

Inter have decided to focus on Nicolo Rovella in the event of the departure of Hakan Calhanoglu, who is increasingly close to returning to Turkish football.

The Bianconeri have informed Lazio, through the player's agents, that they are ready to offer €40 million for the midfielder. However, president Lotito is demanding the full payment of the €50 million release clause and has no intention of negotiating for anything less.

Rovella's agent, Beppe Riso, has already launched an attempt to convince the player to leave, although the latter has previously expressed his desire to stay at Lazio.

The capital club is in financial difficulties and the sale of Rovella could help balance the accounts.  

The final decision is expected to depend on the player himself and the final stance of president Lotito.
