Food expert/ Beware of salmonella, wash farm eggs before use

Abdyl Sinani, a food safety expert, said on the Good Morning Albanians show on Euronews Albania that village eggs made from free-range chickens have the strongest yellow color.

In addition to the benefits that the human body has from consuming the egg, which is very rich in vitamin A, it also carries the risk of salmonella.

The expert advised that in the case of village eggs, they should be washed with running water before consumption.

 "If we take the egg and do not wash it with running water, there is a risk of salmonella.

There is salmonella in their skin, when you are going to fry it you have to wash it well. If you overdo it with the egg, cholesterol acts.

"You should not consume more than 1-2 grains per day, if you consume more, you are at risk of cholesterol," said the expert. /CNA.al
