Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, inspected this afternoon the new Hospital of Internal Diseases at QSUT, with a capacity of 350 new beds, which will raise the level of public health service to European standards.

“Jemi drejt përfundimit të investimit në këtë spital të ri të sëmundjeve të brendshme. Rrisim kapacitetet për urgjencën, interventet e hemodinamikës por edhe cilësinë e shërbimeve, duke përfshirë ndërhyrje inovatore në shërbimin e kardiologjisë. Spitali i ri do të zgjerojë edhe kapacitetet e shërbimit të Reanimacionit të Kardiologjisë me standardet më të mira”, tha Manastirliu.

Investimi i ri parashikon edhe hapjen për herë të parë të një spitali ditor.

“Me hapjen e spitalit të ri, ku do të transferohet shërbimi i urgjencës, do të kemi mundësi të hapim një spital të ri ditor me 60 shtretër, ku do të jetë edhe shërbimi i dializës”, tha Manastirliu.

The new Hospital of Internal Diseases will offer internal medicine services, rheumatology, allergology, dermatology and physiotherapy services that are currently located in other buildings of QSUT, and together with the existing services, those of gastrohepatology, hematology, endocrinology, nephrology , dialysis, cardiology unit, hemodynamics and cardiology resuscitation will complete the profile of a true internal medicine hospital.

The new hospital will also have a day hospital with 60 beds, to increase the efficiency of services.

The new Internal Medicine Hospital will have 9 lecture halls dedicated to medical students, where medical practices and continuing education will take place./ BA - CNA.al
