Commemorative activities were held today in the city of Korça on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the city's Liberation. This historic day, October 24, 1944, marks the moment when Korça was liberated from the fascist invaders, entering the brightest pages of its history.

The celebrations began with a performance by the city brass band in front of the "Andon Zako Çajupi" theater square, followed by a solemn ceremony attended by veterans of the National Liberation War, representatives of local government, well-known personalities and numerous citizens.

In their welcoming remarks, local leaders praised this day as a symbol of the sacrifice, courage, and dedication of those who gave their lives for national freedom and dignity.
