Veto for Albania?/ Rama in Brussels: We do not look anywhere else, stubbornly towards the EU

Prime Minister Edi Rama, during the joint Albania-EU conference, also answered questions from journalists present regarding the possibility of a veto on membership.

Speaking from Brussels, Rama said that candidates should not be divided in this process based on their geopolitical circumstances.

Rama said that Albania will do anything to get in and will fight stubbornly.

The head of government added that in today's Europe, no country is small enough nor big enough to be left out of the EU.

"The candidates should not be divided. This is the first. Second, Moldova has survived two Russian aggressions in two difficult situations. We are the most pro-European country and nation in Europe. And not because I say so. We will not look anywhere. We will do whatever it takes to get in and we will fight stubbornly. In today's Europe, no one is small enough to be left out and no one is big enough to be left out," Rama said./ CNA
