Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that Albania, at this moment, needs a strong administration, with skills and integrity, that influences continued economic growth.

In his speech at an event organized by AKPA, Rama emphasized that a different administration would also help the business climate and foreign companies operating in the country.

Rama added that this different role of the administration should be linked to the government's declared economic ambitions.

"We need a strong administration, one that has skills and integrity, to have the continuous growth we have from customs and tax revenues."

We need a different administration, for the business climate to be different and for foreign companies to function.

It must be well-positioned with the declared ambitions of the economy, so that economic growth translates into increased wages, pensions, and more rights.

A young person and a person who has been working for 15 years cannot be paid the same. The economy has not given us this opportunity to materialize it. Today we have it because the economy responds to us and the administration helps us.

"Today, there is more talk about corruption for objective and subjective reasons. But a war has been launched against it, primarily politically, by a party that has freed the hands of justice," said Rama./ CNA
