The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, gave a speech during the protest held in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where he declared that the opposition represents the only hope for Albania.

According to him, the protests organized by the opposition are among the strongest in the last 35 years and express citizen dissatisfaction with the current government.

He stressed that citizens and opposition supporters have shown resistance in previous protests, citing large turnout at rallies and confrontations with tear gas and law enforcement.

"Today we gather here not simply as a standing opposition to the series of the most powerful protests that Albania has known in the last 35 years.

Today we gather not only as an excellent political alternative, but as the only hope for saving Albania from Edi Rama's narco-state based on crime, drugs, and the theft of Albanians.

We are the only hope for Albania, today it is clearer than ever for every Albanian, for the friends of Albania who want this country to emerge as soon as possible from this evil disease that is destroying its body.

In the last peaceful protest, tens of thousands of citizens faced each other in the streets and squares of Tirana as if they were invincible.
