"I am spending 700 million euros on landfills"/ Topalli: Half of Albania's waste will be sent to Shkodra

Democratic Party MP Jozefina Topalli, in her speech in Parliament where she analyzed the 2026 budget, stated that the government has foreseen another 700 million euros for the coming years for waste because it threw 430 million euros into incinerators that do not exist.

Topalli said that through the recycling policy, it is foreseen that the garbage will be sent to Shkodra, while there are no other investments for this city.

" It spent 430 million euros on incinerators that don't exist and now it's going back to landfills where it has projected another 700 million euros for the coming years."
