Today, a meeting of NATO defense ministers will take place in Brussels.

Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, wrote in a post on social media that the discussions focus on NATO's operational adaptation and a more balanced distribution of the security burden.

Good morning from Brussels, where NATO defense ministers are gathering today.

Following the Hague Summit, where new objectives were set based on a realistic reading of the security environment, discussions today focus on NATO's operational adaptation, faster decision-making, and a more balanced distribution of the security burden among allies.

The decision to deploy Operation Arctic Sentry around Greenland confirms that Euro-Atlantic security is inseparable: from the strategic north to the Mediterranean. In this context, strengthening the Alliance's positioning on the south-eastern flank remains equally essential.

Albania knows its duties and translates them into concrete investments for the security of the country and the entire region.
