Today I wished Shkelqim Hajdari success in his new position as Prefect of the Tirana District, an important responsibility in the service of citizens and in strengthening inter-institutional cooperation. The Prefect has an important role as the representative of the Council of Ministers at the district level and guarantor of the implementation of legality by local government bodies. Tirana, as the administrative, political and economic heart of the country, requires dedication, integrity and fair decision-making in the implementation of the law.
