'Politically based corruption'/ Boçi accuses Rama: He is the main culprit of major criminal files

The Vice President of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, today accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of being the main mastermind behind major criminal files.  

Invited to A2 CNN, Boçi said that in addition to Rama, 71 other people are being investigated for these issues.

Boçi raised the concern that politically based corruption and crime have merged into one.

"I presented arguments and facts why Rama has been declared untouchable. He is the main signatory of the decisions on the incinerators, the initiator of the projects that are not functioning today. There are 71 people under investigation, but the main head, Rama, is outside this file. Today, organized crime not only launders money, but also has political authority. Politically based corruption and crime have merged into one", added Boçi. /CNA
