Kapri ironically mocks Rama: Today is a significant day, you had not come to the Assembly for 4 months

MP Erald Kapri today mocked Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding his absence from the recently held plenary sessions.

In his speech in the Assembly, Kapri said that Rama rarely comes, but today's presence is important because the 2026 draft budget is on the agenda.

Kapri also shared a comment regarding the stance of the Socialists and the government in the face of one of the challenges before integration, namely the fight against corruption.

"Today is a significant day because the Prime Minister has come to the hall. He has come after 4 months because he comes once every six months. You did very well to come because we have to talk about the budget. But the priority is the fight against corruption. You were in Brussels yesterday. I am curious how you explain the fact that some socialists are accused of corruption by SPAK. This makes no sense. The question is public for all Albanians. You said that the government does not become the logo and shield of any high official. Who is accused by SPAK, will you dismiss him or not?", said Kapri. /CNA
