"The Guard leader did not get my opinion"/ Berisha on January 21:

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in his speech after leaving SPAK, also spoke about the former President of the Republic, Bamir Topi, referring to a passage in his book.

Berisha said that he did not send Basha to the Presidency and accused Topi of being one of the organizers of January 21, as he had an interest in Rama extending his mandate.

 

" Bamir Topi writes in his book that I sent Basha to the Presidency. Yes, Bamir Topi was one of the organizers, he was waiting for Rama to extend his mandate. Basha had no instructions not to communicate with the president ," Berisha declared.

 

Regarding the questioning by SPAK, Berisha said that he was asked about the security system outside the Prime Minister's Office and not about the internal servers.

The leader of the DP stated that he will appear before SPAK on this issue whenever necessary.

 

" I was not asked about the servers, I was asked about the security system outside. I will appear whenever they want, whenever they need me. The head of the Guard did not get an opinion from me on whether to open fire. There can be no such opinions ," said Berisha./CNA
