Balla meets VanHorn: Albania-US cooperation, for the benefit of strategic

The Chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, hosted today in a meeting the US Chargé d'Affaires in Tirana, Nancy VanHorn.

As reported by Balla, the meeting took place within the framework of the 250th anniversary of the Independence of the United States and the 104th anniversary of the recognition and establishment of diplomatic relations between Albania and the USA.

Balla emphasizes that the strategic partnership with the US remains an important priority for Albania, highlighting cooperation in strengthening the rule of law, consolidating democratic institutions, developing the market economy, and supporting American investments in the country.

"As the US celebrates the 250th anniversary of Independence and together we celebrate the 104th anniversary of the recognition and establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries, the conversation with the US Chargé d'Affaires in Tirana Nancy VanHorn was always fruitful. Our cooperation with the US is today at an excellent level in every bilateral aspect or within the framework of the organizations to which we adhere together, for the benefit of the strategic partnership, the strengthening of the rule of law and the principles of the market economy, in support of American interests and investments in Albania", Balla said. /CNA
