Noli" and the Institute of National Affairs, I was a critic, opposing, in terms of leadership, guaranteeing and respecting the autocephaly of the Orthodox Church of Albania, until the Albanian government in 2009, with the Ratification of the "Agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Religious Communities of Albania for the Regulation of Mutual Relations", thus opened a new chapter of cooperation and recognition with the religious communities in our country.

It is clear that Archbishop Anastasios, with his wisdom and knowledge that characterized him, won the trust and respect of religious and non-religious Albanians, and for many believers, Archbishop Anastasios took on the appearance of a saint.

The Albanian people in their history have shown and continue to show that they are grateful and their foreign friends such as Anastas Janullatos, His Beatitude Anastas, etc., never forget them, but remember and honor them with respect for all that they have done for them, in their difficult days and for their future.
