After 13 years in power, the government has also run out of imagination and, in the context of blaming others for its own failures, has already fallen into clichés that, by repeating them endlessly, it thinks will stick. The classic is the demonization of the DP, as if the problems are coming from it. Rama likes to say that they curse the English government to foreigners.

But today we have IDU, which is the largest gathering place for right-wingers in the world, who spoke Albanian and from very close to Zagreb.

Its recommendations would be valid for a government if it claims to represent the interests of the public and the country. A responsible government would take them and try to address them. But Edi Rama will once again treat it as a lightning rod for the DP allies.

IDU expresses concern about obstruction of justice, about maintaining the government's immunity in investigations of major affairs, about the connections between crime and power, and about elections that are not free and fair.

Rama, who is considered a major actor on the international stage, when it comes to critical positions, he closes his ears, he behaves as if he is isolated, as if he is sovereign, as if they do not matter. However, he can't wait for a sentence to appear in any study, however peripheral, by any organization that speaks well of the government, to take it and pump it loudly into his vast media space.

A concrete example was in the findings on press freedom. While all the backtracking is being said, there is talk of censorship, pressure, interference and loss of points, the Prime Minister grabbed a paragraph that evaluated the establishment of the information agency.

He didn't say a word about the entire report that the editor-in-chief of the country's media publishes, while filling the screens with those two phrases about his agency. These contradictions are his usual behavior.

But beyond that, the IDU resolution is a snapshot of the painful reality in our country and an invitation for all of us to stand up and change it.
