Big surprise.

This ugly, ignorant, not at all democratic phrase has been repeated for 33 years by all those who do not win the elections and remain in the opposition.

This is where the source of all the evils begins as a result of this opinion embedded and repeated by every "opposition whistle" in these 33 years.

This is where the wrong culture and misunderstanding of oppositionism as a democratic concept begins.

With the phrase "we voted to be in opposition" the bunkering of oppositionism in only Political Groups or Fractions that have Parties that lost the next election is justified.

Democracy works differently.

The government represents the majority of Albanians who, even with a handful of votes more, give the right to 1 party or a group of parties to govern all Albanians.

While the opposition is the party or group of parties that do not win the elections, but they must become the voice of accountability and alternative construction for all Albanians.

There is no citizen in the world who votes for 1 party or 1 candidate to be in the opposition.

Every vote that is given has the aim and purpose of winning the party or the selected candidate.

No one votes and no one is voted to be the opposition and to be the opposition.

Just the day after the elections, the result comes out that determines the winning party or group of parties and at the same time the party or group of losing parties.

Having said that, it worries me, when a party or a group of parties loses the elections, it was not voted to be in the opposition and to be the opposition.

When a party or a party group loses the elections, they simply understand that their electoral project, their governing project and their candidate for Prime Minister, has failed.

Only in dictatorships and hybrid and authoritarian regimes are the winning parties and those that will play the role of the opposition determined in advance.

In a democracy, the vote is given for victory and only for victory.

Whoever loses, means that he was defeated in the election by the majority of the citizens, the electoral project, the governing project and the candidate for Prime Minister.

And based on this logic, in democracy, losing parties or minority parties have 4 years to build a new alternative.

And while they start working on the new alternative for the upcoming elections, the minority parties also become the political representation of all citizens to raise their voices on behalf of all citizens to hold the winning majority or the Government accountable.

This means openness, circulation of elites, coordination, not assimilation, not domination, etc., etc.

To represent all citizens, you have to go beyond party and militant contours, but go to the citizens where they are and open the structures and ideas and initiatives to all those who deserve or have a value to add. .

OPPOSITION/ What is the way?!

In the elections of April 25, 2021, Edi Rama won again.

Undoubtedly, he won without a fair competition, with patronage, cubs, villains, strongmen, local or regional gangs, mandatory signature forms for every administration employee, with pressure, blackmail and seduction.

Beyond these truths that we all already know, the fact remains stubborn, Edi Rama won the elections and the Lulzim Basha Project for Prime Minister and together with this Project, PD, LSI and all their allied parties were overthrown by the majority of Albanians.

Were they closer than ever to victory?

Yes.

Does this count when the job is done and the winner has received the Cup?

Nothing.

Were Lulzim Basha, Sali Berisha, Monika Kryemadhi, Ilir Meta, etc. voted to be the opposition and make the Opposition???

No.

620 thousand votes for PD + allies and 120 thousand votes for LSI, were given for the victory of these parties.

So Edi Rama got 40 thousand more votes and PD+allies and LSI lost the elections.

Consequently, when this democratic reality is accepted or even with all the injustices in the electoral process of a non-democratic nature, DP + allies and LSI, had to start the process of circulation of the elites and from there begin the efforts to build a new alternative.

If they did, we wouldn't have the opposition of returns.

The opposition we need!

The second returned was Lulzim Basha, who in the Assembly of July 2021, re-candidated and was re-elected Chairman of the DP.

Everything went wrong here.

Albanians and Internationals understood that the game was closed and everything in Albania was developed as the work of only a handful of people who no longer have a problem with who wins or loses, they are simply determined to be part of the exclusive club of presidents .

Sali Berisha's blow from the US decision to declare her "Non-Grata" moved the stagnant waters of the Opposition with returned Presidents.

Until that moment, Sali Berisha was calm and happy that even though he was not part of that exclusive club of leaders, he himself was the absolute leader of the other exclusive club of leaders of the opposition parties.

When Lulzim Basha expelled him from the Parliamentary Group on September 9, 2021, Sali Berisha stood up, put on the opings and took Albania on foot with his pulpit, to redefine his place in the exclusive club of presidents.

He took the majority of PD from Lulzim Basha, he also took the headquarters and now he is quietly waiting for his place after the 2025 elections.

Sali Berisha no longer has a problem with winning or losing. He no longer has a problem with the logo or the name of the party, let alone the seal.

Sali Berisha has the majority of the army.

It doesn't matter if it's a winner or a loser.

He has the majority of the army.

Is Lulzim Basha looking for the victory of the Opposition in 2025, or does he also want to have a piece of place in the Exclusive Club of Presidents???

In short, today the opposition is not trying to win at all.

The opposition has become a straw man, with a race of returnees, to take the place in the Exclusive Club of the Presidents.

And if you listen to them in the Assembly and everywhere, even in every public and media statement, now they are talking about the Towers and Towers with accusations and counter-accusations against each other.
