The great excitement of the next meeting of the Berlin Process was accompanied by the emphasis of the message that, for the first time, such a meeting is taking place in a non-EU country, that the wedding is being prepared for the enlargement of the EU even with the countries left outside of South-Eastern Europe, and that the promise of billions of euros of investment still remains a dream as beautiful as EU membership itself.

Everything else was pictures, speeches, events, press conferences, words, lots of words and great absences.

The Berlin process was done with Chancellor Scholz, the post-Berlin process was done with President Macron.

From here, a European delicacy stands out that the Franco-German axis is no longer two as one, but one at a time.

And put in simple words, if Europe created and supported the Berlin Process to Europeanize the countries of the Western Balkans, today after almost 1 decade, we are arriving at almost a balkanization of Europe.

The term balkanization has entered the political language as a synonym for fragmentation and lack of coordination.

The Franco-German axis turned into an axis one by one, best proves this possibility hypothesized by me.

We go further.

During the entire day of the Berlin Process summit in Tirana, we heard the German at the head of the EU, the German Chancellor and everyone talking about funds, investments, readiness for expansion, etc., etc.

The words and messages coming from the German half day were very encouraging and positive for the European perspective of the countries of the Western Balkans.

But the French half-day, with the post-Summit of Berlin turned into an official visit of President Macron, we only heard stops, obstacles, conditions, etc., etc., etc.

It could be balkanization, which we saw during the day when the Berlin Process Summit convened, but it could also be the old game of good cop and bad cop.

Further, the dynamics between the Prime Ministers of the Western Balkans are in their organic terrain of balkanization and there is no surprise here.

But the balkanization and de-Europeanization and above all the de-nationalization of relations between the Prime Minister of Albania and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, were the most inappropriate and saddest thing of the Summit and after the Summit.

Albin Kurti was at the Berlin Process Table during the first half-day of the Summit when the German messages were given, and he was hit and violated in the second half-day after the Summit when French President Emmanuel Macron landed in Tirana.

Everything here takes on a non-serious and dilettantish color that shows that the great truth is one and only one:

Europe has day and afternoon, therefore it is necessary that we Albanians persistently seek here in our Balkans, the presence of the USA, which are one day, afternoon and night.
