On the contrary! It continued to be the same measly, mediocre, closed party that only had internal democracy as a facade; that he never considered the vote of the Democrats, but used their idealism!

Simply, we at "Kassandra" were waiting for confirmation of what we have been saying and writing for months and months: "That those MPs who joined Berisha, joined him alone for a seat in the next parliament!"

Because the agreement that they reached on the new Electoral Code SP and DP is nothing but a blow, which is done to functional and real democracy and which we find impossible to change. It is nothing more than an indication that Albanians can no longer expect fundamental changes, but what the leaders of the parties want, who hold hostage the roving democracy, democracy and progress of Albania.

The cynical position-opposition agreement on the new Electoral Code, which did not address any of the tasks left to the OSCE/ODIHR, proves that the presidential democracy in Albania lives and reigns and is as powerful, even omnipotent, as democracy and free will. of citizens are killed for a seat of political and economic power.

It proves that, unfortunately, in 2024, pluralism in Albania is like the pluralism that Ramiz Alia had to impose in 1990 with BGSH, BP, BRSSH, veterans, etc, etc...

It proves that Albanian citizens are deprived of the right to vote meritocracy, values. And, realizing that small parties have no chance of winning even one mandate, then the voters, in order not to waste their vote, will necessarily vote for the nominated lists of presidents. (Understand, in 2025 we will have votes, not elections!)

And I, as a citizen, as a democrat, should have the right to choose to vote within my party for the candidate I prefer and value, and not the one imposed on me in the closed list as loyal to the president (that is, as a hostage of the president) and in "open list" the servants of the mayor! So, most of the MPs will be ranked, while the rest have to pass a very large threshold in order to be in the parliament.

Then where did the promises for Primary, openness, value, union, empowerment and power go?

They have been violated in time, since the May 14 elections, just as the statute was violated with the a priori appointment and without a vote of two new vice presidents, as representatives of "diversity"!

Or is it true that what we have articulated, that the Refounded DP does not want power, but only the opposition, that it cannot take power? So will earn money without signing anything?

Perhaps, because for the Refounded DP, the concept of democracy is relative and not absolute. For PD, "democracy" exists only for itself! PD cannot admit that it has a different opinion. Because if it accepts it, its democracy will be easily deconstructed and its implementation will be limited, as it is malleable and fragile.
