World-famous singer Cher tells a painful story from her marriage to ex-husband Sonny Bono, revealing that he took all the money.

The couple were married from 1964 to 1975 and shared their businesses together which gave a huge boost to their success and music and television careers.

From her book of memories, the singer says that she met her ex-husband in 1962.

After a few years, Cher suffers a defeat in her marriage to Sonny Bono.

She writes that Sonny took all my money. “I thought everything would be split in half, but I hadn't realized that he had registered the company 'Cher Enterprises' almost entirely in his own name. He owned 90% of it, while I had nothing.”

In her confession, Cher said that her ex-husband stopped her from seeing friends and blamed her for all his problems.

 "He blamed me for everything, including his cheating. His control has negatively affected my personal and professional life.”

After the difficulties and pain hidden behind Cher's confession, she tells how she found the strength to finally leave her ex-husband.

Cher recalls one morning when she finally decided to leave. “It was five in the morning, and I just thought, 'I can't do this anymore. I'll leave it at that.'”
