Japanese scientists have revealed plans to build a 1,300-meter facility on the moon. It's called "The Glass" and it will rotate every 20 seconds to reach 'normal gravity'. The goal is to create 'living objects of artificial gravity' that mimic conditions on Earth.

A description of the idea was revealed at a press conference involving Kyoto University researchers and Kajima Corporation, a Tokyo-based construction firm.
