Nobel Prize in Chemistry / Demis Hassabis, John Jumper and David Baker share the prize

The Nobel Prize in Chemistry is divided into two parts. One of the winners is David Baker awarded "for computational protein design" and Demis Hassabis and John Jumper awarded for "protein structure prediction" through artificial intelligence.

In 2003, David Baker "created the first protein completely different from all known existing proteins", specifies the committee for the structure of almost all known proteins.

In 2023, this prize was awarded to a trio consisting of Moungi Bawendi, Louis Brus and Alexei Ekimov, born in France, the United States and Russia respectively and all three working on nanoparticles.
