For the first time for the Albanian community in Montenegro, an audio library in the Albanian language began to function, which aims to promote reading and education through this form, especially for those who have difficulties with sight. For the first time for the Albanian community in Montenegro, an audio library in the Albanian language began to function, which aims to promote reading and education through this form, especially for those who have difficulties with sight.
Author Luljeta Avdiu Cura says that Albanian authors from Montenegro are included in this project, to be expanded later with other authors from the region.
"The Sound Library project, as I have titled it "Albanian audio works", is an important project for Albanians in Montenegro due to the fact that audio books by Albanian creators from Montenegro will be published, but also by other authors from the region. The purpose of this project is to educate young men and women within the country, but it is also dedicated to compatriots, who are raising and educating children in the diaspora," said Ms. Cura.
Ms. Cura notes that the project aims to preserve and promote the Albanian language and culture, encouraging more young people and adults to get involved in the world of literature.
"The desire of the young generation to read a book in the traditional form has been lost, and with the fact that they have access to various technology tools all the time, this fact enabled the audio library, believing that curiosity makes them listen to books of this genre" , said the author of the project.
Mrs. Cura thinks that the project will have no end and will be supported by the relevant institutions to develop this form of education.
"This is a project that has no end and I hope it will be continuously supported by the Fund of Minorities of Montenegro or even by other institutions, which love the written word", said Mrs. Cura.
The value of reading in personal and educational development is great and audio books, according to Ms. Cura, offer a new way to acquire knowledge, especially for those who have difficulty seeing, but also for those who prefer to listen to content during their activities. other./ VOA
