Fire in a hotel in Bilisht/ Firefighters fighting the flames

A fire broke out this Monday in a hotel in the village of Vranisht in Bilishti.

Sources for CNA inform that the Devolli firefighting forces are fighting to extinguish the flames.

Firefighters from Korça also went to help.

In advance, it is known that all the people who were in the hotel have left, but it is reported about a lot of damage to the building and furniture.

It is suspected that the cause was an electrical spark, but it will be the expertise that will determine it.

The flames are still present, while the intervention of the fire brigade is ongoing. Meanwhile, the police are also at the scene.

"On 04.12.2023, around 14:00, near the village of Vranisht, Devoll, a fire broke out on the third floor of a hotel. There were no injuries to people, only material damage. It is initially suspected that the fire may have started for accidental reasons.

The investigative team is working to find out the cause of the fire," said the police announcement./ CNA
