Albanian man shot dead in Michigan/ Perpetrator surrenders after crime

A 44-year-old Albanian man was shot and killed in Howell, Michigan. The victim has been identified as a citizen with the initials F.Sh, while American media reports that the incident occurred Sunday evening, outside the restaurant the victim managed.

The 44-year-old had received a phone call and after leaving the restaurant was shot twice. Sheriff Michael Bouchard and F.Sh.'s family said the suspect and the victim knew each other.

It is reported that the suspected perpetrator of the murder, a 65-year-old man, still unidentified, surrendered to police forces about 20 minutes after the shooting.

At the scene, police also found a 9mm pistol that is suspected to have been used in the crime. According to officers, the weapon had previously been reported stolen. Nothing is yet known about the causes and motives of the serious incident. /CNA
