The author of the murder that happened in Dhërmi, was arrested this Thursday afternoon in Greece, at one of the airports of the neighboring country, as he tried to leave.

It is about the 43-year-old man with initials, who allegedly killed the receptionist of a hotel.

Earlier, the police announced that it was in constant communication with the Greek authorities for the capture of the 43-year-old, who had entered the territory of Greece from the border crossing point of Qafë Bota.

According to reports, he is the son-in-law of the owner of the hotel in Dhërmi, where the victim EN was engaged as a receptionist for the summer season.

In the preliminary announcement, the police announced that in Dhërmi the 31-year-old EN had lost contact with the hotel owners.

From the investigative actions, it was established that EN was shot with a firearm, just 30 minutes after midnight on Wednesday, by the citizen G. Sh., born in Tepelena and resident in England.

Suspicions were raised after verification of security camera footage. Now with the arrest of the 43-year-old Greece, his questioning will be expected to shed more light on this event but also to find the 31-year-old EN, whom the police suspect was shot dead./ CNA
