2 bags full of drugs/ 4 people are arrested

The Narcotics Investigation Sector, following the operations to crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, after a real investigative work of several months, followed by special investigation methods, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Tirana , and in implementation of the measures of operational plans "Temple 3", and "Rule of Law" has organized and finalized the police operation coded "Green".

As a result of this operation, the following citizens were arrested:

- GH, 50 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" committed in collaboration and "Disobedience to the order of the public order police officer";

- AK, 37 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" carried out in collaboration and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition";

- SG, 54 years old, and OB, 43 years old, both residents of Tirana, for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics" committed in cooperation.

The Police Services have located a "Benz" type vehicle on "Kasem Shima" street, and during it, in the trunk, they found and seized 2 bags filled with suspected cannabis narcotics weighing 19.30 kg, while the citizen GH, during intervention, opposed the Police officers and disobeyed their orders.

Following the actions, during the control of the apartment of the citizen AK, the Police services found a firearm, a rifle, 200 suspected narcotic cannabis seeds. Narcotics along with other illegal items, 2 vehicles and 7 mobile devices were seized as material evidence./ CNA
