A serious event happened in Tirana.

A woman tried to end her life by consuming photoxy, as she and her daughter were being abused by her husband.

The 47-year-old citizen, GL, was arrested by the police for the criminal offenses of causing suicide and domestic violence.

"Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Police Station No. 6 arrested the citizen GL, 47 years old, a resident of Tirana, as he is suspected of consuming elements of the criminal offenses "Causing suicide" and "Domestic violence". This citizen is suspected of having exerted continuous violence against his wife and daughter, and because of the violence, the wife consumed photoxine. She is in the hospital, under the care of doctors," the police informs./ CNA
