The Police Supervision Agency, after a long investigation, has executed the personal security measures imposed by the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Tirana against 8 police officers and 1 citizen, suspected of "Corruption" and "Abuse of duty". , while 8 other police officers, suspected of being involved in the same criminal activity, are being investigated at large, specifically with the personal security measure "Arrest in prison":

1. Inspector BT, 39 years old, with the duty of Assistant Specialist/Controller in the Border Section, at the Rinas Airport Border Police Station, in the DVP Tirana, suspected of the criminal offense "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions" and "Abuse of duty" ";

The assignment of personal security measures to the above-mentioned citizens was made possible as a result of several months of investigations conducted under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, applying special investigation methods, through which evidence and facts about the involvement of the above-mentioned states in criminal activity.

Specifically, for the period March 2023-March 2024, the ES citizen, the owner of a tourist agency, with the object of activity, among other things, the trading of plane tickets, kept in constant contact with the border police controllers at Rinas Airport, to whom sent data and travel documents of persons who were not allowed to travel to EU countries, specifically, persons who had returned to the Sports category of INAD and were prohibited from entering EU countries, minors without a parental power of attorney, or persons with personal insurance measures.

Police officers, case by case, depending on the issues and against monetary amounts that varied in different values, allowed their passage according to destinations.
