40 tons of coffee were stolen from the company where they worked/ Two warehouse

Tirana Police have finalized the "Inventory" operation, within which they have arrested two warehouse workers and placed the distributor under investigation.

From the investigations, it was found that these citizens stole a total amount of 40,000 kg of coffee from the entity where they worked over 3 years.

These three individuals then traded the stolen coffee and are suspected of profiting 800,000 euros from its sale.

Tirana/The operation codenamed "Inventory" is finalized.

They stole 40,000 kg of coffee from the company where they worked and sold it, 2 warehouse workers were arrested and the distributor is under investigation.

From this criminal activity carried out over 3 years, the 3 citizens are suspected of having benefited from 800,000 euros.

As a result of operational actions carried out on the report of the administrator of an entity in the field of coffee production/trading, who had ascertained the theft of a large quantity of product, specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes finalized the operation codenamed "Inventory".

As a result of the operation:

-Citizens AK, 35 years old, and VK, 29 years old, warehouse workers at this entity, were arrested;

-proceedings were initiated in the absence of the citizen LB, 29 years old, distributor.

The investigations suspect that these citizens, in collaboration with each other, abusing their duties, over a three-year period, have stolen 40,000 kilograms of coffee, from the sale of which they have profited 800,000 euros.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
