The State Police has given details about the extradition of Behar Bajri, a well-known name in Albanian justice. The 43-year-old was transported from France to Albania on a "charter" plane on Thursday morning under strict security measures.

Behar Bajri is accused of "Premeditated murder", "Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Structured criminal group", "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization or a structured criminal group", "Insurance of the conditions and material means to commit murder", "Participation in a structured criminal group" and "Active corruption of the judge, prosecutor and other justice officials, carried out in cooperation".

He is extradited from France to Albania, a wanted man for a number of serious criminal offences. The 43-year-old extradited, announced as an international wanted man as part of the coded police operation "Metamorphosis".

As a result of the continuous cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Paris, for the capture of citizens wanted internationally and their extradition to the countries where they must serve their sentence, the Albanian citizen was extradited to Albania:

BB (BR alias BB), 43 years old, resident of Shkodër.

This citizen was caught and arrested in France, in September, thanks to the exchange between the Albanian and French police of the information provided by the police intelligence, about his location.

The 43-year-old was declared an international wanted by Interpol Tirana, within the coded police operation "Metamorfoza", developed in August, by the structures of the State Police, in cooperation with the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime.

For this citizen, the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Premeditated murder", committed in a special form of cooperation, that of the structured criminal group, "Detention without permission and the production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Structured criminal group", "Commitment of criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group", "Providing the conditions and material means to commit murder", committed in a special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group, "Participation in a structured criminal group" and "Active corruption of the judge, prosecutor and other justice officials, carried out in cooperation".

Citizen BB is suspected of having killed citizen Gj in collaboration with other citizens. B. (N.), on 09.08.2020, in Shkodër. It is also suspected that he organized and coordinated his associates, gave them information on the location of opponents, to organize ambushes, with the aim of killing them.

From the investigations carried out by the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, there are reasonable suspicions based on evidence that the BB citizen, in return for offering monetary sums to justice officials, has made it possible to be released from prison before time.
